E.A.R. soft earplugs are made of an advanced foam formulation for a softer feel and low pressure in the ear canal. Certified to Class 4 under AS/NZS1270 meaning they can be used from 100 to less than 105 decibels for up to 8 hours. While there are Class 5 earplugs (highest level)like the EAR FX these tend to be harder and less comfortable for some users. We therefore recommend that unless you have a specified need for a Class 5 earplug, you choose these as people are more likely to wear them.
